How quickly can I get something blasted?
Most of the time we can get start right away. The best way to confirm our workload is to call us. We often work overtime to squeeze in jobs that are rush.
What medias and finishes do you use?
With every different media comes a different finish. From very aggressive to mild. Every job is different and we will work with you to find the right solution to your specific needs. We keep in stock at all times aluminum oxide, coal slag, glass bead, plastic media, starblast, corncob, walnut shells, bar shot, and can work with you to find the right solution on any other job you may have. Just give us a call and we will answer your questions to the best of our ability. There is never a bad question or one solution to any problem. Our goal is to find the right solution for you.
Will you do disassemble my car/parts, do body work, or offer painting/priming services?
No we do not do any disassembly or body work. We will primer or hi-temp paint your project, but we specialize in media blasting.
Can you blast “soft” surfaces?
Yes! We can blast aluminum, plastic and fiberglass (and we have even done some hardwoods)! Give us a call to discuss your needs.
Do I need to paint or prime my project right away?
Exposed metal can actually start “flash” rusting after about 3 days (depending upon humidity and season), so careful planning is important. We offer primering or hi-temp paint which can buy you several weeks or months. Please note, primer does absorb paint and is not a permenant solution.
Do you do powder coating?
Not yet, but we’ve got several excellent suggestions for powder coating and can coordinate with whomever you choose.
